My girl got me two beautiful gifts, both of which I wanted for a while now. First, a set of Bearbrick collectibles - Stpl Bearbricks with three pieces, a 400%, a 100% and a 50%. They're pure chrome with a sand clock featured on them. They're really really beautiful.

The second item, which I wanted to get for years now, is the Taschen special edition, the Stanley Kubrick Archives (view some photos at YWFT), a giant A3 book with close to 500 pages, an audio interview and a film strip from the 2001 Odyssey (70mm strip featuring 12 frames of the Discovery One in space). The book is one of a kind, and is pretty much sold out in the rest of the world. It's probably the best gift I have ever received. Words can't emphasize my feelings.

I love the gifts. I got her pretty good gifts as well, but she takes the cake this year. <3
